Role Overview
We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Senior Video Editor who can transform raw footage into compelling visual stories that align with brand identity and marketing objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, visual effects, and audience engagement across digital platforms.
As a Senior Video Editor, you will take ownership of the entire video production process, from conceptualization to final delivery. You will work closely with marketing teams, content creators, and designers to produce high-quality video content for
social media, advertisements, branding campaigns, and promotional materials.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator, along with the ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent quality. This role also involves mentoring junior editors and contributing to creative direction.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Production
- Edit raw footage into high-quality, engaging video content.
- Create videos for social media platforms, ads, reels, YouTube, and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure smooth transitions, proper pacing, and storytelling flow.
Creative Storytelling
- Understand project requirements and translate them into compelling visual narratives.
- Add creative elements such as transitions, effects, and music to enhance engagement.
- Maintain audience retention through effective editing techniques.
Motion Graphics & Visual Effects
- Use Adobe After Effects to create motion graphics, animations, and visual effects.
- Design intros, outros, lower thirds, and animated elements.
- Enhance videos with professional-level effects and animations.
Software Utilization
- Work extensively with tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator.
- Use Illustrator for creating assets, icons, and graphic elements used in videos.
- Stay updated with new features and editing techniques across tools.
Audio Editing & Enhancement
- Sync audio with video and ensure clarity and quality.
- Add background music, sound effects, and voiceovers.
- Balance audio levels for a professional output.
Collaboration with Teams
- Work closely with marketing and content teams to align videos with campaign goals.
- Collaborate with graphic designers for visual elements.
- Coordinate with social media teams for platform-specific video formats.
Content Optimization
- Optimize videos for different platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Ensure proper formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios.
- Adapt content for reels, shorts, and long-form videos.
Quality Control & Review
- Ensure all videos meet high-quality standards before final delivery.
- Review edits and refine based on feedback.
- Maintain consistency in style and branding across all videos.
Project Management
- Handle multiple editing projects simultaneously.
- Meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Organize and manage video files and assets efficiently.
Mentorship & Leadership
- Guide and mentor junior video editors.
- Provide feedback and help improve team output.
- Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions.
Required Skills
Core Editing Skills
- Strong expertise in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects .
- Proficiency in video editing techniques, transitions, and storytelling.
- Ability to create engaging and high-retention video content.
Design & Motion Skills
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator for creating visual assets.
- Experience in motion graphics and animation.
- Understanding of typography, color grading, and visual composition.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and resolutions.

- Familiarity with green screen editing and visual effects.

Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in video editing.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Animation, Film Production, or related field.
- Certifications in video editing or motion graphics are an added advantage.
